Filmmaker Isabel Lamberti (1987) was born in Germany but grew up in Spain and the Netherlands.
During her career she developed her love for a cinema of ‘in-betweenness’, a mixture of reality and fiction. Her shorts Volando voy (2015), Amor (2017) and Father (2019) were selected and awarded at many international film festivals.
La Última Primavera / Last days of Spring is Isabel’s feature film debut. The film was selected for Cannes Acid (2020) and had its world premiere in San Sebastián (2020) were it won the New Directors Award.
After that, the film was selected at many festivals and won a string of awards amongst them the Krakow Film Award at the Off Camera Festival (2021)
Isabel is currently finishing writing her second feature film called Storms named after women.
