About Film Village
The Film Village is a special area in Szczepański Square, accessed free of charge during the 16th edition of the Mastercard OFF Camera Festival between 28th April and 7th May.
It is a place where all independent cinema lovers will be able to relax between the cinema screenings and enjoy numerous exceptional film-themed attractions.
You can visit us every day for a cup of coffee from local coffee roaster Dobra Palarnia Kawy or a cool drink ON LEMON, as well as for interviews and meetings with Festival stars, which will be open to the public.
You will also have a chance to get an autograph from your favorite actor or director and pose together at the Festival press wall.
From 29th April to 2nd May, all series lovers can enjoy the Storytellers by Storytel. There will be workshops and panel discussions with the creators and stars of the most famous series.
Bank BNP Paribas, the Festival partner, offers the Chill Zone with deckchairs on which you can relax after all the surprises and the wheel of fortune with special awards prepared just for you. Do not forget about a picture from a photo booth – a festival must-have!
We will also have film-themed contests to win tickets for special screenings, gifts from our partners and other festival surprises every day.
For those who want to actively create and explore, we have prepared: ·
- A presentation of Małopolska-based film-industry businesses ·
- A casting session organized by Outside, a company looking for extras for film and series productions ·
Workshops for children ·
- Workshops – filled with aroma – with HAGI ·
- Coffee workshops
Every evening, at 7 pm, the Village will be transformed into an open-air cinema where you will be able to watch the best festival films.
